Supplies:

  • 5-6 decorative pine cones, cinnamon scented for a delicious smelling tree
  • White glue
  • White iridescent glitter
  • Red and white twine
  • 2 paper plates, or any container large enough for a pine cone to fit in
  • Newspaper or wax paper to use for drying pine cones.

 Directions:

  1. Pour glue onto one paper plate.
  2. Pour glitter onto second paper plate.
  3. Tie twine around the bottom of pine cones.  Make sure it is a big enough loop to allow the pine cone to hang as an ornament.
  4. Dip the pine cone in glue, making sure to cover the pine cone well enough for glitter to stick.
  5. Roll the pine cone in glitter.
  6. Place pine cones on glitter to dry.
  7. Hang your new ornaments on your tree and enjoy the beautiful "snowy" pine cones that will make your tree smell great!
